- APPLICATION FOR AEROSOL
The Surface to be painted must be cleaned from rust, oil and dirt. Shake well BT – 501 Zinc Rich Cold Galvanizing Agent before apply and during use because the zinc content tends to settle. Push knob about three second in up – down position to prevent valve keep clean and easy in future usage.

- Repair of Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel
Zinc-rich paints cold galvanizing Bt 501 can also be used to touch- up and repair damaged areas on a galvanized coating in order to comply with ASTM A 780, Repair of Damaged and Uncoated Areas of Hot-Dip Galvanized Coatings. Repairing a galvanized coating will significantly extend the useful life of a product.
Zinc Rich Cold Galvanizing BT 501 is an innovative paint which contains < 50% pure zinc in its dry film and has an equivalent anti-corrosion performance to hot-dip galvanizing. Since it does not need any special treatment for application, it can easily renovate old galvanized steel structure. It also can be used as a substitute for hot-dip galvanizing and partial repair of galvanized surfaces. Zinc Rich Cold Galvanizing BT 501.
- Water may penetrate through the zinc dust on the steel surfaces, but the steel is protected by the Electrochemical reaction of zinc.
- Oxidized zinc film acts as a protective barrier against air and moisture improving anti-corrosion performance.
- If rust should develop on damaged or thinly covered surfaces, electrochemical reaction prevents rust from creeping under the paint film.
- Remove all the rust and old paint film with tool, Wire brush, sand paper, etc
- Expose the clean steel surface
- Agitate sufficient to obtain uniform density with a powered agitator.
- Apply zinc rich cold and do not spread too thinly.
- After 20-30 minutes curing time, apply second coat on the dry surface.(2nd Coating) (Low temperature prolongs curing time.)
- After fully cured, measure the dry film thickness.

Specially mulated for zinc Rich Paint Primer for galvanizing repair , for paint priming before finishing it can be applied by brush or spraying used thinner P – 0012 for thinner to spray made by VEDY.

ZINC RICH PAINT PRIMER M – 524 – 0157
- It is fast drying Zinc Rich Paint Primer.
- Recommended uses :
Shop or field priming or structural steel, girders, plates, tanks etc. Subject to industrial or rural atmospheric conditions for indoors or outdoors exposures. - Surface Preparation :
Sandblasting, pickling, or cleaning with sand paper to remove any oxidized metal surface. The surface should be free from any types of rust, oil, grease etc. - Application :
Apply by brush, roller or pressure pot spray, thin sparingly as necessary with Vedy thinner P- 0112.
Specification :
- Touch dry : 5 – 10 minutes.
- Dry to Handle : 1 Hour .
- Recoat : Wet on wet by thinning and spraying or wet on dry after one hour.
- Color : Light grey slightly metallic.
- Finish : Flat
- Hardness : F – 2H Pencil hardness.

Paint Remover is used for striping the painted articles. It is easily striped many types of paint such as :
Epoxy paint, alkyd paint, acrylic paint as far. As not very thick one it has almost no effect on the striped painted articles, if just striped the paint only.
Care :
It is very strong chemical liquid solution. Avoid any contact with skin and part of the body. Just washed with plenty fresh water if accidently contact with skin.
